MWP on Campus: What I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Career

How do you walk into an interview in hijab with confidence? How do you ask for time and space to pray, and what do you do when there isn’t any? How do you get through Ramadan with deadlines, finals, and a full schedule, or network when the event is a happy hour?

Our panelists have been the only Muslim, and sometimes the only woman, in the room. They’ll share what they learned the hard way, then the floor is yours. Bring your questions about any industry, any stage, anything you’ve been wondering about.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Muslim women in high school or college. Whether you go to CSUF or not, you’re welcome to join. Stick around after the panel for food and networking.
